Hello!!
First, it’s an honor that you are considering bringing Sweet Booth into your big day. Your wedding is one of your most important lifetime memories, and I would be pleased and grateful to help make it every bit as fun and wonderful as you’re envisioning!
I got the idea for Sweet Booths in 2010, as I was planning my own wedding. I spent hours looking into venues, flowers, photographers, and all of those myriad things that can take over a bride’s whole world (yep, got sucked right in)!
Everything was falling into place. Then suddenly, I had a horrifying thought. What if my photographer missed a shy guest? Or, what if a guest wanted to say something to me, but was unwilling to say it to my videographer—and in public? Some of my guests are flying thousands of miles to be there on my big day. It’s not like we’ll have a second chance. How can I make sure we capture their loving attendance—the greatest gift they can give me—forever?
I did more research, and created a photo booth that shoots pictures, and records videos. It would capture the images of all of the guests. For the shy ones, they can loosen their ties and smile naturally—behind the velvet curtain. For the not-so-shy ones, they can drape themselves in dorky props, or record fun, funny, or wacky videos. Even my sweet grandmother can tell me she loves me—in Chinese!
And so, Sweet Booths was born. Our original booth is a photo and video booth that captures high quality pictures and videos. It’s a genius invention to begin with, and my husband, Jeremy, a bona fide engineer (Sweet Booths has become his second job!) and I are constantly thinking of ways to improve it for you and your loved ones (both the shy, and the not-shy). And now we have a Theater Booth, too.
